Wow, I love how you illistrated the roses! I also like how there is more color in the background than on the focus of the piece, it evens the focus out to the whole picture, it's just more focused on the roses because they have so much more detail and lines in them, it acts as an attention spot of the piece.

I think you've really outdone yourself with this one... this is such a dreamy and dramatic piece at once! I feel like I'm watching Alice in Wonderland walking through a dream garden. I love how you left her dress and expression kind of ambivalent... it adds to that "floating through a dream" feel. ^^
Wow! I agree with all of the previous commenters, especially regarding the foreground vs. background, and the beautiful, vibrant shade of red. Wonderful way to balance the pic. I could learn a thing or two from you...

It's good to have you back! I missed seeing your stuff. (not complaining though, I am well aware of how much life gets in the way of pretty much everything)
I love how the roses contrast everything else so well, with the much more rigid and defined lines. They draw my eye to them, but they don't detract from the rest of the piece. Very nice.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA.
